HOW CAN WFP BE APPLIED?

LifeSafe WFP is suitable for multiple application methods including aviation and ground crew applications via an induction or mixing tanks. As a pre-mixed concentrate, WFP can be used as a powerful ground attack suppression fluid and coolant and can be used in standard extinguishers or spray tanks. When used in larger tanks such as for aviation drops, WFP requires little or no agitation in the mixing tank and creates a solution heavier than water, increasing penetration into the core fuel source. WFP is not only effective at extinguishing the ferocious flames of wildfire, it is also perfect for use as a fire retardant in at-risk areas yet to be affected by the fire to create fire breaks. Where pre-treatment is applied, the fire retardants non-toxic residue left behind after water evaporation remains effective after more than 14 days. Our unique wildfire-fighting solution can be applied in both the suppression and prevention stages of tackling a wildfire, maximising the practicality of use whilst keeping the wildfire contained until fully extinguished.

WHAT IS WFP AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

LifeSafe Technologies’ Wildfire Pro (WFP) is a new and unique firefighting fluid designed specifically to deal with the growing issues surrounding wildfires, operating across multiple application methods. WFP is a fire-extinguishing fluid which is non-toxic, non-hazardous and fluorine-free, meeting and exceeding the strict Australian Queensland State regulations for foam limits for environmental standards of PFAS / PFOA. Our highly effective Wildfire Pro fluid has been proven to provide significant thermal cooling properties at an intermolecular level by breaking the surface tension of the heat and absorbing the energy, creating an endothermic reaction. LifeSafe WFP ensures that the wildfire is extinguished and that it can’t reignite even after the water in the solution has evaporated.

To control the heat of the fire by utilising the LifeSafe Technologies patented EndoShield Performance which creates an endothermic reaction absorbing the energy and heat from the fire and acting as a super coolant.

The product is also designed to prevent re-ignition by stopping any further oxygen from fuelling embers to create a new fire even after the water has evaporated.
