A lithium-ion cell in thermal runaway generates its own oxygen and its own heat. Conventional agents interrupt the flame but leave the cell hot, so it reignites — sometimes hours later.
Thermal Runaway Fluid works on the cell rather than the flame: it strips heat fast enough to break the runaway cycle and keeps cooling as it drains, so adjacent cells stay below propagation temperature.
